OLIVIA LEVINE

“Levine is a mesmerizing performer: charming, sharp-witted and perfectly pitched to find the tricky balance between dark humor and gravitas.”

-Fest Magazine

Hi! I’m Olivia Levine, a queer writer/actor/comedian based in NYC. Originally from San Francisco, I moved to NY to attend Barnard College in 20__ (you guess), and I have been planted firmly here ever since. I graduated college with a B.A. in Theatre and a concentration in acting. Other training includes The Studio/NY, Uprights Citizens Brigade (UCB), and The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (London). My recent short film, LET LIV (dir. Erica Rose), premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival 2023. I wrote and starred in the film alongside Christine Taylor (Zoolander, Arrested Development) and Rosaline Elbay (Ramy, Kaleidoscope). In 2020, I performed a month-long run of my one person show, UNSTUCK: A Solo Show About Growing Up With OCD (read more below),  at the Tank NYC. This past summer, I performed a month-long run of my one person show, UNSTUCK,  at Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The show received several four and five star reviews!

Film credits include Tallulah opposite Allison Janney, and I Hate Kids with Tituss Burgess and Tom Everett Scott. I also perform standup all over the city at venues such as The Bell House, Union Hall, Club Cumming, Stonewall Inn and more! Check out my monthy queer comedy show, STRAPPED, every month at Stonewall.

This past summer my first short film, LET LIV (dir. Erica Rose), premiered at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival. I wrote and starred in the film with Christine Taylor (Zoolander, Search Party) and Rosaline Elbay (Ramy, Kaleidoscope). I am presently developing the feature version with dear friend and director Erica Rose! The film also played at Montclair Film Festival 2023 and was a finalist in the Film Pipeline Competition!

Unstuck explores the intersection of my OCD and my queerness. Through standup, storytelling and lots of vagina related anecdotes, I depict the tragedy and the beauty of a very misunderstood and under-represented disorder.  I performed the show at the 2024 Edinburgh Fringe Festival to rave reviews, and continue to perform the show throughout NYC!
